The “Dolphin” wheelchair is a sturdy but relatively lightweight and foldable manual wheelchair with many adjustment possibilities, making this wheelchair suitable for many users with different needs. The chair has a silver aluminum frame and weighs between 15.6 – 22.4 kg depending on the seat width. The rear wheels are fitted with quick release axles, making it easy to put on and take off the wheels when loading the chair into a smaller car, for example. The seat height is adjustable as well as the wheel position, so that a good sitting and driving comfort can be achieved for all users. The armrests are height adjustable and can be folded up for easier access. The push handles are height adjustable. Standard footrests are height adjustable. The seat depth can be adjusted from 42-48 cm. The wheelchairs are available in seat widths of 40 – 57 cm and come as standard with puncture-proof tires and with a depth-adjustable seat cushion. Angle-adjustable leg rests, which may be needed when you need to keep your legs extended, anti-tip devices and head restraints can be supplied as options.
